This series of cups explores the dialogue between hands, handles, and use. Emerging from a year-long investigation into the gestures involved in holding a cup, the work considers how form can guide, disrupt, or heighten the simple act of drinking. Conceived as objects that honour daily rituals such as coffee or tea, the cups sit at the intersection of function and reflection.

Slip cast and finished in the Melbourne studio, the series was produced with three glazes—electric blue, iron brown, and white—each developed specifically for this project.

This series of candlesticks reflects an interest in simplicity, atmosphere, and the sculptural qualities of flame and wax. A candlestick in use carries a particular presence: its form is steady, yet constantly altered as wax drips, builds, and the flame moves with its surroundings. Unlike an electric light, it creates an ambiance that is both calming and alive.

Designed, prototyped, and produced in the Melbourne studio, the series was completed with two glaze finishes, each developed specifically for this project.
